Mite (8U) Travel Hockey
Winter Club is a youth travel hockey program serving the Lake Forest and Lake Bluff communities and nearby towns. Our Mite teams play in the Chicago United Hockey League (CUHL) and the Green Bay Trail League. All Winter Club teams feature professional coaching and development. Ages
When
Winter Club's regular season begins with tryouts in late August and continues through the end of February. All schedules are subject to change.
Where
Practices
Depending on age our players can expect to practice 2-3 times per week. Goalies will also receive dedicated clinics and coaching as part of program fees.
Games
Jerseys
New players will pay a new player equipment fee of $350 which includes game jerseys, game socks, pant shell, practice jersey, practice socks, sweatshirt, and helmet stickers.
Costs
The total cost for the 2025-26 season of Mite Hockey is $3,300.00 for Members and $3,600.00 for non-members. There is a $1,000.00 deposit that will be charged at the completion of registration. If your player attends tryouts and is assigned to a team and no longer decides to participate in Winter Club hockey you will forfeit the $1,000.00 deposit.
Tournaments
Player fees will cover the tournament costs for the annual MLK weekend tournament in the Wisconsin Dells.
